It's nice to walk into any store and be greeted with a smile or how can I help you. Even when they are busy someone makes it a point to let you know they'll be a sec. If they don't have it they will make sure they order right the first time. Good folks, good prices/stock and good service. Can't beat them I imo.
In my opinion, this Ace Hardware doesn't uphold the reputation of most Ace locations. While the store is decently stocked, it is usually missing a lot of common items that you can find in other big-box stores. When I lived in Morgan county, this was the closest hardware store to drive to during a project. Unfortunately, I often went right past it because they didn't have what I would need most of the time.
