Wow what a nice little hidden gem. I have stayed at the Windrock Park campground many times and was looking for something outside the park that's a little less pricey and a lot more secluded. This is it. The owner Deb was super nice and easy to deal with, and the campsites are the most spacious and serene i've had thus far. Great amenities like firewood, ice, utv washbay, onsite restaurant, and very nice bath house. Beautifully landscaped and nearly pristine campground. Easy access to Windrock by road or several different trail routes. Will definately be my first choice of places to stay when i'm wheeling the Rock. You won't be dissappointed with this place. I sure wasn't.
This place was great! Debbie and Greg were very friendly and accommodating for us first-timers in the area. They gave us a map of Windrock and spent time showing us around, answered countless questions, stopped by from time to time to make sure we didn't need anything, let us borrow their air pump, etc. The grounds were beautiful and the spots were big. The bathhouse is extremely clean and the WIFI is a nice touch, given that there's no service there in the hollow. We plan to come back to the area to ride again and we will definitely stay at Half Moon again! Thanks for the hospitality, Debbie and Greg!

Great place clean bath house close to trails
Great place to stay when your at windrock will definitely stay there again! Very accommodating, and the cabins are way above others I've stayed in at other parks.
